家族の1日の暮らしを、縦軸に登場人物と横軸に時間をとったダイアグラムに表現してみることしました。誰と誰がいつどのような活動を行なっているのかや、誰と誰がどこで過ごしたいと思っているのかなど、家族を取り巻く生活の出来事と場所の関係が立ち現れてきました。そういった小さな居場所を寄せ集めるようにして、住宅をつくることができないかと考ました。
We attempted to represent a family’s day by means of a diagram, with family members arranged along the vertical axis and time along the horizontal axis.
By mapping who is with whom, what kinds of activities take place, and where people wish to spend time together, the relationships between everyday events and places surrounding the family began to emerge.
We then considered whether a house could be created by gathering and assembling these small places of inhabitation.
