庭がまわる家｜House with a Surrounding Garden

柔らかな光がさしこみ、穏やかな風が通り抜ける、庭がぐるりとまわる家の提案です。東京都豊洲に新築されるタワーマンションの一室で、明るく風通しの良い、豊洲のカラッとした環境の中で暮らしていることを実感できる住まいをつくることを目指しました。
多様な日照、通り抜ける風、点在する水場という環境の要素に加え、人を招き入れられる動線を重ねて考えると、外のような中にぐるりと包まれている回廊形式が浮かび上がりました。 従来のマンションのような、ひとつの個室にひとつずつ外が割り当てられるようなものではなく、ひとつ大きな空間に全ての窓を向き合わせ、環境と連続する明るいまどろみをつくれないかと考えました。

A house in which soft light filters in and gentle breezes pass through, with a garden that wraps continuously around the space. Set within a newly built tower apartment in Toyosu, Tokyo, the project aims to create a home where one can truly feel that they are living in Toyosu’s bright, well-ventilated, and dry climate.

By layering environmental elements such as varied sunlight, passing breezes, and dispersed water features with circulation that invites people in, a corridor-like spatial configuration emerged, one that is enveloped all around like an exterior space brought indoors. Rather than the conventional apartment layout, in which the exterior is assigned separately to each individual room, we sought to orient all windows toward a single large space, creating a luminous, continuous state of quiet calm that remains connected to the surrounding environment.
