WAEN (dining ＆ hairsalon)-02

横浜の丘の頂上付近に建つ民家を、美容室・カフェ・住宅に改修したプロジェクトの2期工事です。住宅として使っていた２階部分を改修し、美容室を広げました。美容室の、街と豊かな庭とのつながりが、立体的に多焦点的に拡張されるように設計をしました。

This is the second phase of a project to renovate a private house located near the top of a hill in Yokohama into a hair salon, café, and residence. In this phase, the second floor, which had previously been used as a residence, was renovated to expand the hair salon.

The design was conceived so that the salon’s connection to the town and the lush garden would be expanded three-dimensionally through multiple spatial points of connection.
